The BGS Autumn Meeting is a national two-day meeting in Nottingham for clinicians and professionals involved in older people’s healthcare. The public page describes a broad programme covering the latest scientific research and best clinical practice in core areas of geriatric medicine, with hybrid attendance and on-demand access. Friday includes the Geriatrics 4 Trainees stream for internal medicine trainees, foundation doctors and early career nurses and AHPs. The main abstract deadline is 5pm GMT on 24 July 2026, with a separate G4T abstract deadline of 5pm GMT on 7 September 2026 and research symposium proposals due by 5pm on 31 August 2026. BGS states original research and clinical quality studies are considered for poster or platform presentation, while case reports are not accepted. The listed fee structure is per day, with non-member senior doctor pricing at £244, resident/SAS/HCP at £128 and student/retired at £73; member prices are lower and early bird rates are 10% lower until three months before the meeting.
