The 5th Annual East of England Renal Clinical Network Day is a free, one-day, face-to-face regional conference on transforming and innovating renal care. It is intended for the East of England renal workforce alongside network and system leaders, commissioners, programme leads, nurses and allied health professionals, patient representatives and partner organisations.
The event page frames the programme around rising chronic kidney disease prevalence and cardiovascular risk, pressure on dialysis capacity and the workforce, variation in access and outcomes, and the shift from reactive treatment towards prevention and earlier intervention. The organising network’s public page adds six concrete workstreams: acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, dialysis, systems working, transplantation, and high-cost drug optimisation/pharmacy. Its stated priorities also include home dialysis, pre-emptive and living-donor transplantation, earlier CKD identification in primary care, regional demand-and-capacity work, renal data dashboards, equity of access and shared learning.
A timed agenda and named speakers have not yet been published. The event page, NHS England search results and the public renal network page provide no call for abstracts, poster/oral route, publication outcome, CPD accreditation or registration closing date. The linked East of England renal network workspace on NHS Futures requires sign-in, so any materials there could not be verified publicly.
The attendee ticket is free. The conference runs from 09:30 to 16:15 on Wednesday 18 November 2026 at The Nucleus, Chesterford Research Park, Little Chesterford, near Saffron Walden, CB10 1TS.
