How selection works

The MSRA shortlists. The interview is two ten-minute stations, one portfolio and one clinical and ethical. The MSRA is 40% of the final score and the two stations together are 60%. The old Core Training option has been removed; recruitment is now to the ACCS Emergency Medicine run-through route.

What is scored

ACCS Emergency Medicine ST1 publishes no portfolio scoring. There is no points table and no band descriptors to show, so this page states what the route does instead of inventing a score for it.

The official guidance confirms a portfolio station but does not publish a conference or presentation points matrix. Conference listings can identify opportunities, but MedicMess cannot state how many marks an achievement will receive.

Still counts before 19 Nov.

ACCS EM: nothing new will count for 2027. No open call finishes before Round 1 closes.
