The Complete Guide to the BMJ Research Forum South Asia 2026

BMJ Research Forum South Asia 2026 is a one-day, in-person meeting for clinicians, researchers, academics, policymakers, funders, editors and healthcare leaders interested in turning health research into policy and clinical practice. The programme is built around real-world impact, with sessions on digital health infrastructure, One Health, implementation, research integrity, patient voice and policy uptake. The agenda includes keynote, panel, leadership and distinguished speaker sessions, poster viewing, networking lunch and poster awards.

The research route is through the poster competition. Abstracts close at midnight IST on 30 June 2026, with outcomes due by email by 31 July 2026. Accepted presenters must register in person and upload the final poster by 7 August 2026. All selected abstracts are displayed as posters throughout the forum, and the five top-scoring abstracts are invited for short oral presentations in the main programme. Accepted abstracts are eligible for consideration for publication in a BMJ journal supplement, subject to editorial review, with no author publication fee.

Registration opened on 30 June 2026. The visible international delegate fee is GBP 177; local prices are INR 5,900 for doctors/general delegates and industry participants and INR 4,130 for UG/PG students. Registration includes full-day access, poster showcase entry, lunch, refreshments, networking and a digital BMJ Group certificate of attendance. The FAQ states that the event is not accredited for CPD and that travel and accommodation are not included.
