The Complete Guide to the Alzheimer's Association International Conference 2026

AAIC 2026 runs at Excel London from 12–15 July with online access and a large mixed scientific and clinical programme. The published schedule combines early scientific sessions, daily plenaries, poster and exhibit periods, ISTAART intermissions and skills workshops, ASK! sessions, corporate symposia and evening receptions. Seven named plenary speakers cover neurodegeneration drug discovery, anti-amyloid eligibility and biomarkers, dementia in Latin America, amyloid-beta and tau biology, proteomic subtypes, neuropsychiatric manifestations and community prevalence of Alzheimer’s pathology.

The general abstract deadline was 12 January 2026, with an ISTAART extension to 16 January and a Developing Topics window from 31 March to 11 April. Original, update and encore abstracts could be considered for oral or poster presentation, in person or virtually; case studies were also accepted. Six required themes structure submissions: basic science and pathogenesis, biomarkers, clinical manifestations, dementia care and psychosocial factors, drug development, and public health. A full submission guide is PDF-only; presenters must register. Original and update abstracts are published through Alzheimer’s & Dementia, while encore abstracts are excluded from republication.
